Line up at 9:30 a.m. Parade begins promptly at 10:30 a.m. (Highway 180 will be closed for the Parade.)

Truth or Consequences, NM Saturday, June 30 Independence Fireworks - tentative date! Dusk (9:00 pm approx), Rattlesnake Island, but viewable from almost anywhere at Elephant Butte Lake. Come and see the largest fireworks display in the state, reflecting off the largest lake in New Mexico! Park fees are waived for this event. Rain date: July 1, same time/same place. July 4th

Socorro, NM The 20th annual Fourth of July Celebration on the New Mexico Tech campus! Wild West extravaganza, lots of good-time dance music, Sousa marches, martial arts, plenty to eat and drink, water slides and other activities for kids - and, of course, a spectacular fireworks show. It's all happening north of Macey Center on the college campus, starting at 11 a.m. and ending with the aerial display after sunset, where there's campus parking, lots of dance space, grass, shade trees and sunshine - all free of charge. Silver City, NM Chamber of Commerce Fourth of July Parade and Festival On July 4th we start the day with a Kiwanis Club sponsored Cowboy Breakfast from 7:00am to 10:00 am. The parade will start at 10:00 am. After the parade, join us in Gough Park until 5:00 pm, for live music, great food, and lots of arts and crafts booths. Barbeque Lunch sponsored by the Kiwanis Club.
