The Village of Reserve Downtown Drainage
Project, started this past September,
has been granted a twenty-two day extension.
Originally projected to finish December
22, the extension was granted due to delays
in obtaining construction materials. “Everyone
on this project wishes to thank the townspeople
for their patience and understanding,” stated
Tony Gomez. He is the on-site project
supervisor. Most of the major underground
work has been completed. Still to be completed
are sidewalks, installation of street
paving stones, lights, and landscaping.
Catron County Deputy Ian Fletcher displayed
the newly obtained AR15 rifles just procured
for the Catron County Sheriff Department.”These
eight rifles were donated to this department
by the Colt Defense Company. They heard
of our need for rifle replacements, and
they graciously donated these up-to-date
rifles for our use. Our old rifles have
been in use since the early 90’s,” said
Ian. Current officers will soon qualify
and be issued the new rifle.”All
the officers are extremely happy to be
receiving these quality rifles,” said
Ian.

The Double C Ranch & Rural Ministries,
based just outside the Village of Reserve,
is pleased to announce the installation
of their newly obtained tent. “We
can accommodate close to eighty members
once completely installed,” said
Loren Cushman. Mike and Elaine Walden
painted the new sign. This is a non-denominational
ministry, welcoming everyone every Sunday
at 5pm to listen, sing, and to enjoy
a pot-luck. For additional information,
call Mark Sprague at 533-6330.
